Background.
Pain Solution currently resides at the autonomous youth house Blitz in Oslo. Blitz has been a lively center for various activity for the youth, run by the youth. Here bands come together for rehearsals, RadiOrakel airs 6 days a week, good food is served, several groups keeps their offices here, there's a info shop, concerts twice a month and a political resistance with no leadership. In the middle of this we rent space to store most of our props and equipment, we use the stage and ballroom for rehearsals and we set up shows from time to time, both our own and guesting sideshows from other countries. We have been at Blitz since our place, FakirSkolen, was torched in August 2009.

Residing at Blitz has great advantages, and some disadvantages.
It is a very reasonable rent, we have room to work, we have access to great food on weekdays, it's low cost, practical and easy to set up shows to our convenience, it is central and has a good stage and grid that allows us to rig suspension points everywhere.
The biggest disadvantage being the house is flooded by punk kids with very little initiative to keep things together, it's dirty and messy and our choice is to either clean up after them, or to work around the mess.

But then there's another challenge; the conflict between Blitz and the Police!

For 25 years Blitz and the Police force have clashed on the streets, the facts being that one force has had massive power, and the rebel youth have limited access to resources, it is for the most part Blitz that's getting the beating in the end of the day. This have never stopped Blitz from acting and taking to the streets to rally against injustice and cruelty locally and globally. One cause in particular that people in the Blitz scene has fought, in the anti fascist cause. Were others have stood by and watched neo nazis and racist organisations set root, Blitz have confronted this groups and chased them head over heal out of town.
For some time, a tattoo studio, Metal Tattoo, has been located 3 blocks away from Blitz. Recently it became evident that this studio was the base for a group of Russian nazis when the police arrested a know Russian nazi in the studio and seized both knives and guns. Blitz are demonstrating weekly against the establishment of extreme right wing groups in Oslo, and will do so until the studio is closed. The police have raided Metal Tattoo 3 times, and seized weapons all three times. They have also stopped Blitz from reaching the studio. Last week they used teargas and pepper spray to control the crowd, this week they trapped the whole demo effectively and held them trapped for 3 hours. At the same time the police forced their way in to Blitz and performed a raid looking for arms.

The HeadMaster VS The Police.
I was at Blitz, preparing to practice on my new solo, A Special Night with The HeadMaster, when the cops rolled up to the front door. It did not happen unexpected, so I was already in the window when they arrived, screaming that I should open the door. I asked them; What do you want in here? And they yelled back to open the door in 10 seconds, or they would open it themselves. I tried to say I don't have that authority, but they were already attacking the door, eager to get in. Then it occurred to me! They will search the house, and they are bound to find Pain Solutions props, which can easily be mistaken for weapons! Before I could make a decision on how to relate to this the doors into the info shop was torn open, and instantly they started to break down the door to our room! I managed to signal my presence and unlocked the door before they broke it, and in a split second I found myself with both hand behind my back. Before they took me out of the room to have everyone in the same place, I had them listen to me for long enough to explain; This is Pain Solutions room, we rent it, everything in here belongs to me and I can answer for everything. Blitz do not have access to this room or to our props. You will find swords, machetes and knives, among other objects that could be defined as weapons, but these things are my working tools.
After they had taken my ID, I asked the cop in charge to take me back to our room for a briefing on our things. Entering the room, a riot equipped policeman had three machetes in his hands:
Cop: What are these for?
Me: I run a show and they are stage props.
Cop: If these are theatrical props, why do they need to be this sharp?
Me: I am a fakir. I have some pride, I would not stand on dull knives.
By pointing to a poster on the wall, depicting Pain Solutions famous bed of nails pyramid, they got the drift. I claimed everything that belongs to Pain Solution not to be touched as it has nothing to do with Blitz and that they should distinguish the difference. They made a note of it and told me to leave the premises, they would call me when they had finished.
A couple of hours later the police left Blitz with a handful of random clubs and bats, and "some drugs". Obviously not enough to brag about the amount.

To my great relief, I found that the police had actually respected all of Pain Solutions property, at least as far as can tell.
